SVIIB's album Alpinisms, one of my favorite albums of 08 was just rereleased with 9 extra (remixes, live cuts, and demos) tracks. If you haven't had a chance to check out Aplinisms, you're really missing out. It's an exciting, largely unique experience, appealing without the need of labels or even listener musical preference. Upfront, you have vocalists Alejandra and Claudia Deheza, flitting from folksy Marianne Faithful to neutral intoned Ladytron style croons to innocent My Bloody Valentineisms; that in my opinion create a mesmerizing listening experience.
